Taken together, the Oxford English Dictionary defines happiness and happy as a “Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment”.
By extension, self-happiness refers to feeling contented or satisfied with yourself. You will feel good about yourself and your choices, and with the person you are.
The factors that can affect your happiness level are diverse, ranging from your mental and physical health, social relationships, family, moral values and personal income.
